American Lamb Burger


American Lamb Burger
Serves 2 - 4 depending on portion size
Oh Boy!  If you love lamb these burgers are for you.  So fire up the grill or cast iron ribbed griddle and enjoy!  Open a bottle of wine or beer for this one.  American Lamb is preferred.

Ingredients
1 lb. ground lamb - be sure it’s lean ground
1½ tsp. Hometown Number 1 Blended Seasoning -to taste
1 Tbs. fresh mint leaves - fine julienne and cross cut

Procedure
1.     Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly to combine evenly.
2.     Form patties, and grill to desired doneness.
  
Optional:Grilling Baste - mix 2 Tbs. extra virgin olive oil and 1 Tbs. fresh lemon juice.
Serve on a warm ciabatta roll with slice of onion & tomato and a touch of your favorite condiment...Tabbouleh or Greek salad is a great accompaniment.

Simply Great Burger

American

Ingredients
1 lbs. Ground Chuck - 80/20 fat
1 ½ tsp. Hometown Number 1® Blended Seasoning
Optional
1 Tbs. Cracked Black Pepper

Directions
1. Sprinkle 1-1/2 tsp. Hometown Number 1® Blended Seasoning over 1 pound of ground chuck.
2. Mix gently to combine.
3. Optional
     Place black pepper in a plate and roll the edge of burger through it.
4. Form three burgers and grill to desired doneness.
5. Serve with your favorite fixin’s.

Suggestions
The higher fat content will yields a juicier finished product.
Open the bun and toast on griddle.

Roasted Russet Oven Fries











American Oven Fries

Hometown Number 1 Roasted Russets
Serves 2 - 4


Ingredients
2 large Russet Baking Potatoes – wash, peeled and cubed or desired cut
1 Tablespoon Oil of Choice - enough to coat potatoes
11/2 teaspoons Hometown Number 1 Blended Seasoning – to taste

Directions
1. Place prepared potato cubes in a colander, rinse under cold water and allow them to drain.
2. Place drained potatoes in an oven proof casserole, toss with the oil and Hometown Number 1.
3. Place pan in 350° - 400°degree oven for 30 minutes or until brown and crisp.
